This is the FY-G3 Ultra Gimbal designend for the GoPro 3 or 3+ cameras. This gimbal comes pre-configured and ready to use (after some very basic assembly) for the ultimate in professional quality stabilized video without any complex steady-cam rig. The gimbal is able to stabilize pitch, roll and yaw axis. Another great feature of the handheld grip is that includes rechargeable batteries that fit neatly inside the handle to power the FY-G3 gimbal. On the handle there are thumb buttons that you can use to change the operation modes, and pitch angle of the gimbal. You can set the gimal to follow mode where the pitch, and yaw angles will follow you (but in a smooth motion) or in heading lock mode here the gimbal will focus on the current pitch angle. Overall this is a great addition to your gopro 3 camera to shoot stabilized videos on the go!
FY-G3 Ultra Gimbal Operation Modes:
- Heading Follow Mode - The Pitch and Roll angles are fixed, but the Yaw axis will smoothly follow the direction you point it in.
- Heading and Pitch Follow Mode - The Roll angle is fixed, but the Pitch and Yaw axis will smoothly follow the direction you point it in.
- Lock Mode - All axis will keep thier current orientation irrespective of how you move the handle
Operation Skill
The Skills of Adjusting Pitch : Double click the button first to be in heading and pitch following mode: Adjust the attitude to move the pitch to the angle you want , then press the button once to lock the angle of pitch being in the heading following mode.
Autodyne Mode : Turn 180 degree of the gimbal(the USB port facing you). Adjust the angle of pitching through the method above, then you can autodyne easily.
